Offering consulting services and innovative business tools, our goal is to help practices to better understand the environment in which they operate. What has evolved over time is a company focused on all aspects of the healthcare market that pertain to physicians, from insurance company contracting, to policies and procedures, and how those affect revenue and delivery of services to patients. We deliver expert advice and solutions for improving practice workflow, operations, marketing, social media, and patient education. We provide access to information that can prove enlightening rather than confusing.
As our team has grown, so has our ability to meet the varied needs of our clients, resulting in the creation of our two sister companies, Patient Centered Solutions, a division that is exclusively focused on helping practices achieve Patient Centered Medical Home status, and IPMSO which enables independent practices to harness group buying power and top-tier medical supply pricing.
Founded in January 2007 by Susanne Madden, The Verden Group is a visionary consulting firm focused on shaping the landscape of advocacy by empowering medical practices to navigate through the increasingly complex business of healthcare, and to advocate on their own behalf to insurers and regulators.

Chip Hart shares how residents can connect to independent pediatrics and the benefits of working independently. Check it out via PCC! 🩺
“Work hard when you get out of residency, and the question you have to answer is: ‘How prepared are you to do this work for yourself?’ Not everyone is, and I'm not advocating that everyone start a business. But you do have to have a sense of who you're working for, and an independent practice might have a better vision, mission, and view of what they want to accomplish than the hospital does, and it may be more aligned with what you want as a career.”

Telehealth offers many new opportunities for practices, including convenience, accessibility, and cost savings. But it also comes with risks that must be addressed proactively. Learn about the challenges in virtual care and how to overcome them here. 👩⚕️
"Telehealth is inherently different from traditional face-to-face visits and brings a new set of liabilities, including data privacy concerns, potential misdiagnosis, technical failures, and the complexity of obtaining proper patient consent. These challenges are compounded by the rise in cyberattacks targeting telehealth platforms. Practices that embrace telehealth need to ensure their risk management strategies are as forward-thinking as their service offerings."

If you're a pediatrician trying to decide whether to use this company for billing services (IPMSO). DON'T. They do not know at all what they're doing and they are nonresponsive to you and to your patients. They didn't even understand that newborns are covered under their mother's medical insurance for the first 30 days after being born and claimed that a newborn baby did not have medical insurance. As a company that touts themselves as experts in medical billing, it's rather grossly negligent that they don't understand that's how insurance works. They don't provide any customer service to you or your patients. They don't provide a telephone number for patients to call and don't answer emails. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this company. The fact that they don’t even bother responding to comments shows the level of customer service they provide - which is none.
